Over 1,000 teachers and staff are set to benefit from the "Long Service Gratuity for Independent Chinese Secondary School Teachers and Staff 1.0," with RM6 million allocated each year. This initiative will total RM60 million over ten years (2024-2033), recognizing the invaluable contributions of these educators.
The "Long Service Gratuity," initiated by the Malaysia Social Entrepreneurs Fund (MSEF), began with a RM15 million donation. The Social Entrepreneurs Fund Council has since raised RM30.5 million, bringing the total to RM45.5 million as of January 2024. We are committed to reaching our goal of RM60 million within the next decade. Together, we can create lasting benefits for those who have dedicated their service, making a meaningful impact in our society.
