With the "Long-term Service Gratitude Fund for Independent Chinese School Teachers and Staff 1.0," we will directly support over 1,000 faculty and staff members, issuing an annual gratitude fund of RM 6 million, culminating in RM 60 million distributed over ten consecutive years (2024-2033). Gratitude is a beautiful emotion, a healthy mindset, a sense of conscience, and above all, a driving force. Entrepreneurs from the Malaysian Social Entrepreneurs Foundation (MSEF) are passionate about giving back to society and education. Since 2023, they have been advocating the “MSEF Teacher Appreciation Programme” and established the “Long Service Gratuity for Independent Chinese Secondary School Teachers and Staff”. This initiative aims to awaken the Chinese community to the long-term dedication of teachers and staff in independent Chinese secondary schools. Through this, they hope to cultivate a sense of gratitude among independent Chinese secondary schools’ students, alumni, parents, and other people, enabling them to give back to the people who have devoted their lives serving in independent Chinese secondary schools.
